... own divides to do as we pleased. A few of us went off to stroll through the crafts market. I parted way with them when they decided to go into a church; opting for a coffee instead and a further walk on my own. There are 70 churched in the historical centre alone! Pip would tell me it is a catholic country after all.
I managed to get back to the hotel before the heavens opened.
... Our first stop, just a few metres from the sport was a glass blowing factory. It was interesting to see how a glass jug was made by these skilful artisans,but soon it was time to board the bus again, and head for San Jose. We did stop for a drink at a pub on the way, the rear of the building led to a terrace with a wonderful view of the bay, and our ship.

... made of surfboards and other equipment. While it may not have been Mexican, the food was fantastic and we left the burrito joint full and sleepy. This day, we just hung out at the hotel and watched Netflix. I can't quite remember what we watched-- I think it was that dystopian action movie with Tom Cruise, Equilibrium, but I'll have to get back to you on that. Another day done.
Tonight (being Erin and Davids last evening with us)........ we headed down town after already having had a full day in Cabo. Walked to the Marina this morning, Erin and I 'bargained ' for Mexican pottery in the markets and again ran the gauntlet of the hawkers .We did purchase two handbags which started at $30 each and after playing the NZ 'walk away' game several times, ended up with two for $20 very happy with that...- we were ...
... sitting in a cheese sauce with truffles….again very nice and two piece of ravioli was more than sufficient … thank heavens it wasn’t a whole plate of ravioli.
For mains I had jumbo prawns (shrimp) on bed of tiny tomatoes with eggplant … I can’t recall the marinade but it was delicious and light compared to some of the meals at the table … eg Doug had a veal chop which was enormous others had rolled breast of ...
