    ... doors of the ferry got stuck so nobody could get off. In the end, free drinks were issued, the boat was turned round and, 3 hours later, the lorries were reversed off and we were able to get on our way.
    We drove 80 km and arrived at our campsite (Monte Royal), having gone over a mountainous area with snow poles already in situ at the side of the road, at 10.15pm but, being Spain, were able to order a simple meal at the bar. It was a chilly evening at this altitude.

    ... behind we were running into new groups and even old people we hadn't seen in a while. We were thankful for today's short walk as it was very hot and humid.

    We toured an 8th century castle which was just fascinating. Very surreal to be in such an old building like this. And for only 1.5 Euros you just can't pass it up.

    ... but they failed to mention this swap would cost her an extra $10. They also charged each person for the bread they brought out without asking. This was the only experience on the whole trip where we felt sort of scammed.

    Oh and by the way, the highlight of the day was... PEANUT BUTTER. This just isn't a thing in Spain, at least in northern Spain. We could not find PB anywhere! So unfortunate, as that is like the ...

    ... a miracle. We rounded the corner and this cute little Spanish grandma wearing a floral apron, was standing outside by her table with fresh coffee and snacks. I could have cried.
