      ... even had a special gate to get to the outlet shops ..far too convenient we would later find out.

      The reason we waited to shop until we got to Oregon is that there is no sales tax in the state. So instantly everything was 10-20% cheaper.

      The outlet mall was massive with outlet shops including Nike, Addidas, Columbia, Gap, Ann Taylor, Disney, Osh Kosh, Banana Republic, Max Studio, Levi, and the list goes on ...

      ... trail was reserved for bikes and pedestrians (although there were very few people walking it), and since it followed the river, it was completely flat. We rode for about five miles and found a little amusement park (that's right, another amusement park). We had to stop, of course, and let the kids jump on a few rides.
