... br> Considered to to be the best preserved Roman theatre of the ancient world, the theatre, built between 161 and 80 AD, seated 15000 and was the site of all types of entertainment including gladiatorial battles. The acoustics are amazing and the site is now used for operas and concerts.

A small fishing village (although now more of a tourist haunt), Side is a lovely mix of the old and the new with ancient sites intermingling ...

... breakfast, sadly this was to be our last real all you can eat Buffet so we went and really enjoyed it. We then had to go back to our rooms and clean up, pack everything into our bags and then leave this amazing hotel which we will all love, remember and will all be happy to visit again.

Next to come is the "Big Tour Pt1"

... That night was the much awaited expedition to the Chimeara or as commonly known, the flames of Olympus. Homer, in his Iliad and Odyssey spoke about the Chimeara all those hundreds of years ago. The 6 of us donned our hiking boots, (except for me in my slipslops) attached our "kopligte" and headed for the trek up the mountain!!! Jeez, I wont lie, it was QUITE a climb!!!
