Today we say goodbye to Pula and head down to Zadar. It's a beautiful sunny day (again) for the four hour drive. As we head east across the peninsula, we have snow capped mountains to the north, and rugged escarpments to the south. The landscape is quite dramatic. ... water simply to cool down. I stopped at a wonderful old town build on one of the islands and decided to take a wander through the old streets. Everywhere just seemed so clean and tidy and looked like they took great pride in the whole village.

By now it was after 6pm and time to look for somewhere to stay for the night. There was loads of hotels along the waters edge but as its not holiday season not many of them were open. Then not far before the town of Zadar ...

Favourite - eating huge Pizza slices from the street vendors by the beach. Going on the paddle boats that had slides on them and watching jack push dad in. The pool hydroslide.

    Favourite - The hydroslide and saying I was 6 so I could go one them by myself.
