... of bbq chicken with beans and apple cobbler. It was really nice to hang with mom and dad again, and the sisters seemed to really enjoy meeting them. After they left, we watched "An Affair to Remember" with the sisters (it's a classic chick flick). It was really good, and by the time it was over, we were ready for bed/reflection. Reflection went on for a little longer than we had planned for haha but it was good. We were all the more ready to go to ...

... Mal (one of the candidates for sisterhood living in our house, she's super cool) made her special salsa from her garden. Mmm it was sooo good!! We even got spice cake at the end! Mom and dad celebrated Mass with us, so that was cool too, and we met up with them at Winsteads on the plaza after taking a ...

... They have been to some pretty cool places. We ended the night with a little reflection and a casual introductory overview of the week. We went to sleep quickly after that; we were all pooped from the long day right after midterms week. We're looking forward to our tour day tomorrow, starting out with breakfast and Mass, then checking out downtown KC. Hopefully my KC pride hasn't been too annoying... ...

... I was out of the woods. The drive to the airport was normal but when I got out of the car in the parking lot my ankle was hurting enough to make me limp! By the time I got into the airport and up to the ticket counter I was limping pretty bad. I managed to hobble all the way through security and to my gate but by then my right ankle was swollen and obviously not doing well. The flight attendants gave me ice during the flight to put on it but by ...
