The holiday came to an end and although Manchester Airport had to close for one day while we were away due to snow, Kittila Airport stayed open the whole week even though we had had a metre of snow!! We boarded the plane in Kittila Airport and took off on an ice rink once again. Manchester, UK here we come!!

Before bed we frequented the very nice Ice Bar ...

Farmor was home and so was Markus, Maria’s uncle. After saying 'hello’, we dropped our bags in the cottage, put the car in the garage and went back down to the main house for some dinner.

After dinner, Markus went to make the wood fired sauna ready while we cleared the snow around the cottage. ...

... as nice as it looked, and would probably taste, we weren’t waiting around that long.

We had a nap in the afternoon after Katja’s group had left to go back to Venejärvi and the others were still out.

Feeling refreshed after our power nap, we went out for dinner with Torsti, Virpi and Matias to Julli's, but it was packed with a waiting time of one hour so we went ...
