Lapland - Second Husky Mushing Excursion At my request, I received only four husky dogs on this trip, one of which was female. Lapland - Snowmobile Excursion - 50 km At 9 a.m. we were taken by bus from the lodge to the nearby husky dog camp which is supposed to be the largest in Europe with 550 husky dogs. Thereof around 120 were retired dogs, and probably another 60 were young dogs, so only around 370 were huskies on active duty. The drive to the dog camp took 30 minutes as there was no direct road to the camp which was only 8 km from our lodge ...
