Saturday was our last full day in the beautiful resort of Levi. We spent most of the day in and around the hotel and catching up on some much needed sleep from the night before. We had some dinner in the hotel and bought some last minute souvenirs. We then went back to our room and got ready for our last night meal.

We had booked up a traditional Kammi feast back at our resort. This is ...

This time was different. The Northern Lights were running while we were driving. Every one of us was anxious to get out of the car and ...

... hours here. At sunrise or sunset he invisible very low standing sun illuminates the horizon with a juicy light-rose which gradually turns over in a glowing deep blue ... what a fantastic color palette of nature.

Well, we can't win every night, can we? The Aurora Borealis forecast for this night was a very low level, close to a zero. Nevertheless we tried hard to get some of the magic but did not succeed ...

It's still hotter than Hades, but now we have patches of snow around us. Also we really entered Lapland and the reindeer-household stock are spread out in the landscape AND on the roads. Looking for the small puddles of **** on the road is a sure telltale of them lurking on the roadside. Speed limit is 100 and we are doing 105-110 on the needle :) We did some FINE gravel today from ...
