Four hours later, we moored up and went for a tasty Thai supper - lovely green and red curry, that for just a pound was ridiculously barginous. The food here is definitely one of my favourite things and you can't even begin to imagine how much lobster and langoustines there are.

We are off to Cambodia tomorrow, so will be back on when possible.

... walking distance, the Khlong Phlu waterfall. Our instructions to get there - 'go to the main road and turn right at the elephants'. After an hour and a half walk through the sweaty jungle interior, we were greeted by the site of the crystal clear plunge pool created by a three-tier waterfall cascading from the cliffs. We jumped into the refreshing waters before taking on our first feat of daring, a small cliff jump.

... tänne 4 tuntii, mutta täällä on autot niin hienoja, et ne kulkee jollain kaasulla tai vastaavalla joten autoa piti kaksi kertaa tankata matkan varrella ja yksi tankkaus kesti 45 minuuttia, koska paikkoja on niin vähän vissiin täällä joten jonot moottoriteiden varrella on tosi pitkät sinne. Mutta täällä ollaan. Arvio lämpätilasta n.35..joten ei valittamista.

... has been mostly overcast with several scattered showers...hopefully when we return again in a few weeks we will be greeted with better weather. On the bright side, it has been nice to slow our pace down a little bit and have more of a "normal" lifestyle...at least as much as one can while backpacking across Asia. We spent the day going for a run (our first since we left home!), reading, doing laundry, catching up on our travel books, and pretty much doing nothing. ...

... we've read. We make our way toward Ice Beach, supposedly the cheapest place around. The road beneath us crumbles to mud, the shops slowly peter out, and eventually we're at the end of the beach, surrounded by a cluster of dusty bungalows, all boarded up, no sign of life in sight. Welcome to the Hotel California? Nope. This is Ice Beach. Will we be staying here? Nope.

Right next to Ice Beach, apparently out of business, is ...
