      ... fish and sea bass up around 40 pounds. Hopefully on the next blog we will have pictures of the catches. He's been coming down here for years so we've used his local knowledge on the stores, pharmacies, restaurants and connections.

      ... but fun was had anyway playing with a couple from Winter-peg.
      We spent one afternoon at Goldmine, AZ, a genuine old ghost town on the outskirts of Apache Junction. It was pretty and provided some nice photo ops and a main street gunfight. We also had to tempt fate again with a trip to Walmart's Black Friday sale. We only bought a couple of the super specials and returned one of them a few days later.       ... came over with the news he picked up on his satellite from Phoenix. Apparently it was a drug cartel situation and there were 5 killed in the apartments down the beach including those in the truck we saw. In hindsight, driving around yesterday we saw a silver Rolls Royce with oversized tires on it driving in the the direction of the hotels...something really out of place and you have to wonder if they were not part of the final scenario.....more rumors to monger.

      ... wanted to be sand blasted. It stayed like this for the first 3 days. The second day we traveled into the town of Puerto Penasco AKA Rocky Point, about 26 miles from the resort, to do some shopping. It is a quiet town with the typical Mexican tourist things.
