    ... one of the jewelery vendors is really hurting. The only sales he's had lately are to Liz and I and he has been giving us very reasonable prices just to make a sale. The trailer park is near deserted but everyone keeps saying that it will pickup just after Christmas. We like it this way, nice and quiet, but its tough on the town's people.

    ... wanted to be sand blasted. It stayed like this for the first 3 days. The second day we traveled into the town of Puerto Penasco AKA Rocky Point, about 26 miles from the resort, to do some shopping. It is a quiet town with the typical Mexican tourist things.     ... that are open.....we could have played for free if we attended a timeshare presentation but to anyone that has ever done that knows you can't play very well after they apply the thumbscrews for the sale.

    I have a birthday tomorrow and have decided to forego having a tooth extracted here until Wednesday so I can have a last meal for a while, short of refried beans and salsa. This will not be the last entry from Mexico in that we will be here for at least another 3 weeks so manyana !!
