We drove east through Youngstown and north through Warren, PA along the Allegheny River in  up over the Allegheny Plateau into New York State, then east about another 100 miles to Corning, New York, then north again 20 miles to Watkins Glen, NY.  About 240 miles. We learned a few things about our new RV GPS, while driving along the first stretch of the river north of Oil City. ...

On Day 2, we left Chambersburg and headed northwest 200 miles to the Allegheny National Forest. It was overcast with periods of light rain most of the way. But, it was a beautiful drive through the back roads in the mountains.

We got to Chapman State Park around 3:30pm and the skies cleared up for the evening. We biked a trail along the lake and then relaxed for the ...

... kids were set up in a gymnasium (a sign on the door said that absolutely no wet street shoes were permitted on the gym floor…oops) and once again, John had a captive and responsive audience. The gag where he drops a juggling ball, asks a kid to pick it up, and then when the kid hands it to him, he drops the other two (and repeat multiple times) absolutely killed here…he probably could have done that the entire half hour and the ...
