Provo a fare qualche filmato, già sapendo che non renderà l'idea. Arrivato a valle, prendo il bivio per Marina di Gairo, segnalato per le belle spiagge. Lungo la litoranea ce ne sono diverse. ... severa, mi ammonisce: “Non sono giornate da andare in giro in bici”.
La vista tutto intorno è mozzafiato. I monti sardi tutto intorno non sono molto alti, al massimo si arriva a 1200 mt e quindi è come essere sul tetto del mondo. Peccato per il vento, che sembra una bestia cattiva. Con coraggio affronto la discesa. Ho ragione, perché il vento mi tormenta solo poche centinaia di metri. Godo per 30km di discesa di una bellezza commovente.

Assaggio la Carapigna, il gelato di montagna e la birra Bir's, prodotta qui ad Oliena.
Il Supramonte, qui ad Oliena è una presenza continua. Lo si vede, bello e maestoso, da qualsiasi vicolo.
Incombe massiccio anche durante il mio ritorno a Dorgali, peraltro noioso. Detesto rifare la stessa strada due volte.Alla sera mi ripresento al bar/ristorante.

We wandered all around and may go back as have a few more days here....also into some of the churches. Met an Aussie lady asking directions from Melbourne. Don't even hear english around.... though many Italians speak english, and of course ...
Roadtrip

We pull in beside lake Flamendosa and spend a long time just gazing around – listening to the bells of the cattle wandering around – the cattle aren’t bothered by vehicles and refuse to move out of the road, so when we do eventually move on and find a herd in the road, it takes quite a bit of time to negotiate through them – they aren’t moving for no-one!!
