... We had a weird tasting before our meal, all the things they use to make in the early days. I tried the six tastings, I have eaten everything from cheese made inside dead pigs guts, marrow from the pigs trotter, all the organs, birch beer, I forget all the others. I gagged a few times but was determined to try it all. If I wake up dead tomorrow I will know I have been poisoned. Was the best fun though, a lot of the guys chickened out before us ...

... have 9/10's of the water that the Niagara Falls have go over them. Day two (Monday) took us to Kingston where we enjoyed a boat cruise through the Thousand Islands and some wandering around downtown and along the water front. An early start on Tuesday was needed so we could meet up with our nephew Justin as he graciously offered to give us a tour of his workplace - the downtown Toronto CBC office! This was topped off with a nice lunch ...

We then started exploring the green farming area of the plain people, learnt something today, it is not just Amish here, there is also a community of Mennonites (these are Amish ways but may use electricity and cars). We visited 2 working farms, they either ...

I have no idea why it is called Valley Forge. The park has a surrounding feature that I think fits as a better description: Mount Misery. After making it up about 3-5 miles of hills, we ran into none other than Tim, the Godfather, Potopa. Provided with a nice lunch and the kindness of the staff who gave us the tip to put ice in our water bottles, I felt much more inclined to tackle the day's adventures.

    Thanks Tim!!!
