Lazy day, with late brekkie. Drove with Liz and John via Torpoint and then Millbrook to Maker Heights, when we sat outside to eat lunch overlooking Cawsand - amazing in late November!

We were to go on a cruise in the Plymouth harbour at 5 pm but the weather was against us as well as the tides so cruiser owner cancelled it. Rain on and off gain today. Saw the ...

... itself for the landing was attacked by E-boats of Nazi Germany's Kriegsmarine, resulting in the deaths of 946 American servicemen. The incident was under the strictest secrecy at the time due to the impending invasion, and was only nominally reported afterward; as a result it has been called "forgotten".

Regardless of all that we had really good fish and chips in the local pub. Well, everyone else did, I had chicken and ...
