I noticed that the most prominent ingredients in Thai cooking are garlic, chilli, ginger and lemongrass; garlic and chilli though are important ingredients in South East Asian cooking - it was very much the case in Bali.     ... the ferry which stops everywhere, takes 5 hours and costs 1500 baht, or for 1900 baht we can go by speedboat in 3 hours. Yes you guessed it speedboat here we come. Not sure of it will be a good idea to have breakfast before we go but what the heck. This could be a whole heap of fun, or a whole heap of misery but the tickets are booked and away we will go, but not today.

    We was lucky to stumble across a real authentic local Thai market selling all the fresh fruit and veg, cooked foods and loads and loads of fish, just a shame we had already eaten but was great to see a real market rather than one just there for tourists.
