Today was a full day trip to the premiere snorkeling site in Thailand (or at least around here). It seemed to us that all of the tour companies go to the same spots so we chose one that seemed good. The Ko Rok islands are a fair distance away so companies use speed boats to get you there. With everyone a tad tired we found a pirated copy of the second Harry Potter movie for rent at the complex office - funny they are charging for an illegal copy. ... birthday. We all ended up buying the same silly hat that folds up like a fan, we looked ridiculous but for a worthy cause. The locals found us funny! We got back in our car, Jess now driving and going the right way we headed to the snorkelling bays. We found bamboo bay which was so secluded and gorgeous. We spent most of the day going to different bays but not doing much snorkelling as the water was quite murky and rocky which didn't ...

Phi Phi Leh, a truly memorable morning and location.

The next activity of exertion on our 'to do list' was the hike up to the island's view point. Now if we were on an island with roads, or paths even, then this task would be perfectly achievable and one would arrive fresh faced ready to take in the view before them.

But when you're located at the foot of the ...
