    ... a second bed would be delivered with of course a mosquito net to cover it, we settle for a 800 bath Bamboo hut for the night!

    We spent the rest of that day exploring the surroundings, walking on the beach to realize we were still quite far from the main area. We also realized that this island is actually too big and has too many options for the amount of tourists! I mean, at night, the bars and restaurants all look empty since everyone is dispersed ...

    ... like thousands of little needles pricking us at the same time- horrible!! Ignoring the pain, we carried on up the hill to the lighthouse. The views were spectacular! One side ;a stunning beach, the other; the rocks we'd just come from. There were a couple of eagle circling around over our heads looking for food; it was lovely.     I had a great New Years Eve in Ko Lanta at the Round House with a lot of new friends. We celebrated until 5 am in the morning on the beach. It was a great atmosphere.
