... have been, it was the best ferry trip we've been on. The sea was so flat. We sat on top deck and I fell asleep for the first 40 minutes. I woke up and couldn't feel it moving at all because the sea was so flat, this was brilliant news for my tummy. It took about 1 hour 30 mins to dock at Krabi. For most of the stay we were blessed with great weather but on one particular night it absolutely chucked rain out of buckets from the sky so we treated ourselves to a bit of room service in our very own little pavilion. Chaing Mai transportation to and from the aiport is set by the local
government, regardless of distance within the city to the aiport is 120 baht
(similar to NYC to JFK give or take $60!)
Security in the airport was actually quite
strict, with not one but three points in which you went through metal detectors
