... nice local and super cheap place. The food was great and we got to watch the final tournament of this game between Thailand and Malaysia...it was so strange like a combination of volley ball and football (soccer). It was a close game but Malaysia ended up winning. After dinner, we headed to a reggae bar and had a couple of drinks before heading to Ao Nang Beach. ... area. I was wearing my sandals in the water - my awesome Tevas - which was very useful because if I accidentally hit the coral with my foot, it wasn't such a big deal. I jumped in without them slightly later on in the day and scraped my foot on coral twice while I was kicking to move around - just little baby scrapes, didn't even break the skin, but I think I would generally recommend wearing your shoes in.

... planned to eat straight away and then get an early nights sleep. As it happens, we found the local food market along the river where we picked up vegetable fried rice for 40 baht each! Around 80p. Bargain! After eating it was back to the guesthouse and bed.

The following day we was up and hired a motorbike. We planned to visit the "Tiger Cave". It was around 16km from the town. We had some breakfast and headed off on our way.
