... so me and Tom put ours together and got a pizza to share. We spent a few hours at the pool and it was just what we all needed. That night we had an early one as we were all very tired, we played a few games of pool, booked out accommodation for samui and went to bed!! We were getting picked up to be taken to the bus at 11am but where we went to check out reception was closed, we needed to hang back our keys and all get out 300baht ...

... that you used to be able to go there, but there is something in the caves worth a lot of value. I think something that goes in soup? And too many fights were braking out over it, so now no one is allowed in. Again I think some understanding was lost in translation, but that's what I got from it.

... I imagine walking through prison must feel like, only the inmates settle down once they've been taken out on a good strong lead for walkies (maybe they could try that in real prison). Monday 27th - Thursday 30th I'd heard mixed reports about the islands of Ko Phi Phi; that the larger island Ko Phi Phi Don was overdeveloped, struggling to cope with the tourist numbers and had serious sewage problems, and that the smaller island of Phi Phi Leh was so overrun with boat loads of day trippers that you couldn't find a spot on its famous "beach".This group of islands is however one of the most famous in the world thanks to its crystal clear waters, Ko Phi Phi ...
