The mini bus driver must have not gone under 100 miles a hour for any of the 3 hour trip and talked on his phone the whole time. We had a scary few minutes when we were stopped at a police check point and they kept us there for what seemed like ages - the group of lads we were sharing the minibus with all got a little bit nervous for some reason, can't think why... ... We drove, crossed some lakes on a boat and arrived in Krabi that afternoon. We could tell already that Krabi was different from the islands and seemed less touristy. A black tipped reef shark I think. I thought I would be scared but it was just thrilling, I did a little squeal underwater!!! Tomorrow we fly up to Chiang Mai, for a spot of culture, trekking and elephant time!! Excited!!!! Love to you all, R x x ...

... as you make your way back down, through the troop of monkeys that patrol the lower slopes of the almost 2,000 foot hill. My comment about need some exer ise definitely came back to bite me on that one.

In amongst the many highlights there was one obvious lowlight, drunkenly going into a karaoke bar and singing. I would like to apologise to everyone I've let down: my parents and extended family, my friends, anyone I've ever met, the people in ...
