I passed the time during the hour-and-change-long ride silently placing bets against myself on the odds that this engine could get us both out and back while wishing I had brought ear protection.

... go through 2 car ferry places.. the ferry part of the tour im guessing... it was actually pretty cool and quite fun.. getting off onto the first ferry the views were phenomenal, water like glass and we saw all the rocky islands. Well we eventually arrived in beautiful Koh Lanta at 3 30. We got a tuck tuck taxi and off we went chugging along and arrived at paradise. We are staying in a beautiful garden bungalow.
