      ... 7). We spent a day on a boat to the Ko Haa islands, where we circled the uninhabited islands in our snorkel masks. There were eels, turtles, and dozens of species of tropical fish. We'd planned to use the hot water on the train to make up some rice pots because we'd heard the train food offered was expensive (which relatively it was) but the attendant said there was none.       Ko Lanta is an island between Phi Phi and the mainland. It's about 20 km long north to south and about 5 km wide. It’s west coast is relatively flat and so can be toured with a motorbike.       Woke feeling refreshed. We had breakfast which was free and we didn't know about it so that was a nice touch. Just toast, fruit and a hot drink but it was enough. She had brown bread! Which is something we have really missed as they usually don't serve it in Asia. The beach is just over the road and a short walk down. It's really beautiful.
