... to see them again. After a couple of beers with Offie, we went back to the shop to pick up my bag, and the German couple showed up. I stayed in the shop with the girl helping her to decide what to buy, while Paul and the guy stood outside chatting. I was convinced to get ANOTHER pair of Ali Babas, this time tailor made, and the owner of the shop customised a silk top for me to say thanks for bringing in more customers. ... in the fish every evening to the harbour which was walking distance . We had the privilege of selecting our own fish which Anand worked upon to create a gastronomical delight . So it was Seer,tuna, lobster, bass, mackerel and barracuda for us to savor the whole week . To go to Hikkaduwa town –centre you can take a bus for 30SL or a tuk-tuk for 200SL.

... toned bodies! We just came to relax for a few days and we had fresh fish for dinner with our feet in the sand. The only strenuous activity that was undertaken was body boarding. Along the beach is a turtle sanctuary where turtles have been rescued and cannot be released back into the wild. The only thing we did not like about Mirissa was that all of the beach restaurants insisted on playing loud dance music and there were too many tourists for our liking. ...
