... and Yuan put them in the pot to cook, when the water boiled. In minutes they were done. We had some red wine to drink and toasted each other. The Chinese people have a great tradition of toasting each other throughout the meal for the friendships they have. ... and then we are going to travel on to explore the island. Belinda's cousin Harry, who is a tour guide, is taking us around.

Tonight we went to see an outdoor performance called Impressions of Hainan. We were accompanied by Belinda's mom and dad, Harry and his wife, their two children and Harry's mother in-law. Harry's children are Connor, about 4 and the baby who is less than a year.

The performance is hard to describe. ...
