        ... the sunset over the river was even more spectacular. Fireflies? I smsed Susan - what an amazing present! and we haven't even seen a firefly yet!" She was right about not taking photos of the fireflies, it was really something we had to experience. The boat left from the jetty next to the restaurant and took us about 20 minutes down the river.         ... the manual, and we got the engine shut down ("WFI" as they say in the Air Force – without further incident). But now what? We were 2 hours out of Krabi, 7 hours from Phuket and 20 plus hours from Langkawi. Knowing there were no repair facilities in Krabi and even fewer parts we discounted that quickly, we were both ‘done’ with Phuket and being ripped off by the chandleries and repair facilities, so we decided that pressing to Langkawi was our best option – ...

        Still a little tired but well rested (the beds are awesome) we went down to breakfast; very quiet with small variety. We set out to go to the Mardi Agro Park a short distance from the hotel.... Although we accidentally ended up on the other side of the island (some 30km away). It ended up being near the cable cars where we were going tomorrow, so we did that instead. All of our hearts melted when we saw groups of monkeys ...

        A very enjoyable day! We return for shower and change and then visit the boat Restaurant once again. Tonight Marjory chose seafood soup and squid with stir fried vegetables which was lovely and David enjoyed noodle soup and chicken and vegetable stir fry..........And some local beer!

        ... li Borneo ominiesz. Podczas naszego pobytu tutaj odwiedziliśmy 3 Parki Narodowe: Baku, Mulu i Niah. Głównym powodem wizyty w Baku są Nosacze- dość duże małpy o niecodziennym kształcie nosa. Spędziliśmy 2 godziny przedzierania się przez dżunglę żeby zobaczyć 2 z nich, po czym wracając znaleźliśmy trzecią- siedząca na drzewie dokładnie naprzeciwko wejścia do parku! :) ...
