A particular set of 10 houses were built in Glencoyne some time before 1858 at a place called Seldom Seen and you can understand why they called them this when standing on the path looking out across the valley. In fact I had a much better look from the rear side on the way back down later in the day when descending on another pathway.

... back today (Sunday), so we made the most of the extra hour before dropping Cat off at the station and knocked off a couple of caches before taking a short trip down to Bowness on Windermere to check that Nick's memorial trees were still in tact and hunt out a possible site for me to place my own geocache in his memory, subject to National Trust permission that I am currently trying to obtain.
