... we killed some time shopping, we went to Walmart to buy movies and chocolate. We came back to the hotel with Gone Girl and Left Alone (both of which we watched), and candy: dove chocolates, cream-filled pastries, brownies and turtles. ... a very nice flavoursome pizza however their pizzas are soggy in the middle. We did enjoy their pizzas. Would I go again or recommend it. Probably not. Their service and help is not great. ... architecture built in with no expense spared. We hilts there we Booked top of the rock (30 Rockefeller Plaza) - a trip up 30 Rock for tomorrow morning. VERY tired Josh, VERY grumpy Josh, so onto the subway home and to a lasagne restaurant for dinner - his favourite food. ... nobody's moving. Music starts playing and people start walking forward, I discard my jacket, brr it's cold. Finally we start a slow jog and than there's the start line and were off. ... asked locals for info. re the train to get on. One went and got us a large map which helped a lot in demystifying the system. We chatted with him until we got to our station and Jolanta carried on the short distance to hers. We spoke for sometime with a couple of Police in Times Square about how we've found New York and comparing it with NZ.
