Day 4. Well another sweltering night spent in Times Square ( it still astonishes how so many people can fit into such a small place) so we shuffled along with the crowds and spent our last evening in Times Square. In addition to that craziness - which for any mere mortal would be sufficient - we spent the day wandering around Brooklyn Bridge Park and Brooklyn Heights, a very rich and affluent neighbourhood with condos starting - starting! - at $2M. Some obligatory swings and slides followed by a long walk back to our lovely house rounded off another fine day on the Atkins Tour. ... no problem getting the care we needed and we were never concerned about the treatment as it was top notch. It was also very affordable!

The friendliness of the people we met was at times unbelievable. Australia and and New Zealanders would stop and ask if they could help with directions if they found us looking at a map. In Bali and Thailand the whole populations appear to be consistently smiling and friendly, whatever their economic situation. There were people selling ...
