Stopped at an Amish Farm to shop. They let the venders set up and sell their stuff along side the Amish goods. We even saw them giving rides to kids on the pony pulled cart. We had fried peach pies and pretzels, and an Amish Boy tried to sell us a bunny. The Horse was churning ice cream he looked so bored. The stoves were powered by propane and they made all the food while you waited. Allana said the pretzel was the best she was ever eaten. My peach pie was to die for ...
We don't give up vacationing easily. We departed Kiawah Island, SC early this morning to head back to Michigan. We stopped about mid-way home, at Daniel Boone National Forest area in Kentucky, around 3:30 pm. We have received our new home. It is cosy. It has just enough storage space, a microwave, a fridge, a sink, a shower/toilet in one and a little table. Plus there is a bed above the driver's cabin. It suits our needs perfectly for this upcoming part of our trip. I’m just a bit disappointed about the poxy pictures on the front, but you can’t win 'em all.
So, the aim is for us to stay overnight in each of the 48 mainland states of the USA over ...
