After DC we hired a car from Knoxville and headed to the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. We stayed in a town called Gatlinburg and the only way I can describe it so that everyone understands.... It's like being at Disneyland without the rides but all the attractions and fast food restaurants that you could think of. It had so many mini golf places, Ripley's believe it or not attractions, cars from movies, old fashion ...

Our heads pointed downhill, and I spent the night alternately dreaming of falling and fending off Julie as gravity pulled her onto my side of the tent. I tell you, I didn’t need Julie’s body heat pressing all up on me because the tent was, once again, a steam bath. I thought mountains would be cooler at night!
Maybe Benadryl wasn’t such a bad idea after all. Too bad I didn’t bring any.

Tonight we had the Sach's over to our campsite for some Spaghetti Bolognese (or however that is spelled) Chris showed off his caveman fire building skills and also managed to throw away the brand new unopened box of Graham Crackers and Marshmallows we had purchased that day. Thank you very much sir.
