Yes... we finally made it to the highlight of the trip for Eamon...... The Sound of Music tour :)We spent this afternoon touring round Salzburg in a mini-bus with 6 Americans and David our tour leader, visiting key buildings and film spots from the film, whilst in between times singing along with the sound track.....E loved it as you can imagine :) Seriously though... We have had a very slow couple of weeks lately (and some internet issues), but things will be picking up soon. We've been hanging around the area doing small things on the weekend, saving our money for my last two weekends here before I have to go back home. We're going to Amsterdam next weekend for 4 days, and then the following weekend we're going to Rome for 4 days. ... finally has his residency permit. All it took was numerous forms filled out, a trip to Washington DC, weeks of waiting, and finally a trip to a nearby city this morning. They did try to keep his original birth certificate for good, and he apparently had a difficult time getting it back. But he finally did and is now a legal resident of Austria. Now we don't have to worry about him getting deported. ...
