... the ski hire place in our little town and asked about hiring skis for me and a snowboard for Ben. It seems like its really cheap here it was only 12 euros to hire for half a day. There are plenty of little ski slopes around here with their own ski lifts which are apparently very cheap to use. There is no big ski resort in this area with lots of slopes, but it seems it will be good for us to pick it up again here because its not so steep. Hopefully we can do that ...

However, when I researched "wheel of torture" the information I found was the accused was strapped to a wheel and beaten or flogged so I am not quite sure how this torture item was used. We have had a very slow couple of weeks lately (and some internet issues), but things will be picking up soon. We've been hanging around the area doing small things on the weekend, saving our money for my last two weekends here before I have to go back home.
