    ... the temperature had dropped (and so had the humidity, thank goodness) and the clouds had turned dark and rainy looking so it was on with the long sleeves and raincoats which were to hand, bungeed onto the rack packs.     We rejoined the river and the path lead us through a beautiful valley region with lots of vineyards on either side of the river. We stopped just before the bridge in Kitzingen for our coffee and pastries and a rest. Then it was across to the other side of the Main for the rest of today's route - more along the river but with quite a few factories and industrial complexes on the outskirts of villages/towns.
