... but it's extremely expensive, and I booked Rotterdam as a backup and then messaged couch surfing hosts looking for a better option. Rickie has warned us the schnitzels are big so Tim and I share. The schnitzels are definitly big they take up the whole plate but are delious. We have a table on the balcony and have a great ...

... section of the Berlin Wall and also Checkpoint Charlie, which was the only place to enter the old GDR. We also spent 90 minutes in the Holocaust Museum. This is an amazing place that needs the detailed study of days rather than hours. It has been designed by a genius and the contents of the museum are beyond sadness. The room full of metal representations of Edvard Munch's 'scream' ...

It is cold (59 F) and raining here in Berlin. To stay out of the weather, we decided to take the underground to a museum. We walked 4 blocks to the station and tried to buy tickets at the machine. The ticket machine would only take the old type of Euros and kept refusing our money and it took us an hour to FINALLY buy tickets and get on a train. When we got off- we found out we went to the wrong place (we needed Benny). We ...
