... women's side. Argh! I quickly established that I wasn't buying for myself, I'm no tranny, and that I knew I was in the women's side, but that I was there quite intentionally as I wanted to buy a present! Phew! The lady was really helpful and I found a few to choose from (I hate choice!!), and gave some information so I could have a think about it before I bought. That's still shopping ok! After that fine example of shopping I made my way towards the station, exploring ...

... Nope, it was her. Forty years ago, I had been 4-5 weeks without McDonald's, and the first one we saw was in Munich, so I had a Big Mac....and a beer!!! Oh, yea, Germany is good!

Back home at the Holiday Inn, blogged and headed to bed. Tomorrow is good and bad. Dachau and the glockenspiel!!!

Take care, and Happy Mother's Day to all to whom it is appropriate!

Day 2 was enjoyed by waking up late (10am). Andrew and I had breakfast at the hotel. The spread included, cold cuts, cheese, bread, boiled eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts, etc. The best part was that they offered all different types of coffee (yah, caffe lattes). The breakfast was plentiful and fresh.

Weather:Let's just saw it was still cold, but at least there was no rain!

... on one of the rides (we figure better to do this now rather than later on) tried to get our bearings before heading into a beer tent because we knew there was going to be no hope after that.
Our first tent was the Paulaner Tent. We walked in and were completely overwhelmed by not just the size of it, but the fact that there was no room to sit down anywhere! It was actually packed full of people. While we were scanning the room, 'Ein Prosit' came on ...
