Today we rode through Austria and Slovenia, passing many vineyards, apple orchards, past berry farms and chestnut trees. We stopped to sample a fig straight off the tree, and a couple of apples from the orchard. Unfortunately we couldn't get our hands on any chestnuts! We ...

Three months we've been gone! And we are definitely not ready to come home :) So many times we've said "let's just move here"! Just over three more months of adventures to come!! The rain didn't stop all night. And it kept going until around 4pm. We drove to Libnitz for some lunch and to do some planning on the net. Very happy to see Hawks dominating :) Around 10.30am we made our way from Konigssee to Leoben to visit Aunty Vilma. They had prepared a wonderful spread ...

We had Gelato from one of the shops on the cobbled streets and walked back through the Mirabel gardens where I saw some people wearing shirts that said 'Syria - welcome to Austria'. The next day we heard that over 10,000 refugees from Syria had taken the train from Austria to Munich the day we were in Salzburg. That's a lot of people!
We went back to Kirchberg and had dinner at home before going to bed.
