Einen genauen Reiseverlauf gibt es eigentlich noch nicht, aber, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivien, Chile, Brasilien und vielleicht auch Kolumbien stehen ganz oben auf meiner Hitliste. Welche Länder ich schlussendlich bereisen werde könnt Ihr in den nächsten 365 Tagen verfolgen, wenn Ihr hier regelmäßig vorbeischaut. Am 22.08.2009 gehts los, Lima ich komme!!!

... University. I helped them assemble some Ikea like furniture for her apartment. We also rode on there hanging train system which was pretty interesting. We then drove out to there small town called Ramsbeck. It is in a very beautiful area with the traditional german houses it looked just like a postcard. We watched little britian in the evening ...

... which was very deceiving - it served Mexican food. I was expecting Cuban . . . haha oh well! We didn't eat any food anyway - too much Schwarzwelderkirsch . . . we just had some drinks. Er, they had some drinks, I had one and a half. I knocked one of the drinks all over me and my new shirt. Not necessarily the "Euro Look" I was going for. A fun night, but now it is getting ever so close to the goodbyes.

... t too exciting, but it was nice to be doing normal day-to-day things with Claudia - pushing the shopping cart around, picking out what you want for dinner. Much better than online chatting . . .
Claudia made some goulash with pasta for dinner (YUM!) and I started to organize my things for the trip back. We realized that two weeks had gone by far too quickly. Tomorrow will be a day in Paderborn!!

... we realized after we paid that we would have to drink ALL of the liquid - coffee, water, apple juice - prior to going through security. Yikes! So I hustled through security to get to a bathroom. . . Our plane was . . . you guessed it . . . late! So we waited more. We did finally get to Paderborn on a cold and rainy night around 21.00. Long day, but tomorrow it is fun with family, a German barbecue and some real German beer!!

... This special time is also observed at the workplace, however, once or twice a week. It is a nice break in the afternoon, but only includes the coffee-kuchen part in the workplace. At the end of the week we traveled to Naumburg, which is about an hour southeast of Wittenberg by train. ... Millard rented for me last year-among a few other places as well. Now, thanks to Dr. Dorothy, we're well situated in a splendid apartment in the Jordaan overlooking the Lijnbaansgracht with our rent paid in advance through the 22nd of July. I've got a gig with Mark Ritsema in the little town of Middelburg on Saturday night that will net me enough bread to carry me through the next month until we leave for two weeks in Italia on June 15th, and ...

Well, there is not too much to report about, as I have been lying pretty low this past week. It has been truely needed. I never thought travelling would be so exhausting. Staying with sister Sarah has been exactly what the doctor ordered.
