This is a beautiful, elegant spa town.

The main attraction is walking up and down the streets with your porcelain cup (yes you have to but a porcelain cup, because it is better for you), drinking the supposedly curative waters that come up from the hot springs.

There are many here and they vary in temperature from 30 to 72 degrees.
There are so many people walking around, ...

  • Apparently the way to enjoy your "brew" was to sip it while munching on a traditional wafer biscuit. I bought a chocolate one to enjoy with my glass of metallic salty water.
  • I walked around a bit more afterwards. I took a wrong turn and ended up on top of a hill behind the town.
  • On the way back to the hotel I found a supermarket and bought some food for dinner. It had started raining and was getting ...
