We are now approaching the Saxon "Switzerland" on the border with the Czech Republic. This is mining country and reminds me if the Colorado mining area. Silver and a bunch of rare earth metals were hauled out of this region until the mines died. The towns south and east of Zwichau are deep in the hills and now create the most incredible wood carved items and handmade lace. Gorgeous country as usual :) Zwichau is also known for the cars produced by the Horch factory - Audi ...
... it was just not happy with all that mineral water! After lunch we had about 2 hours to wander about and do some shopping. Something kind of funny happened after lunch. There were two people in our
group from Oman. They were very nice, but I noticed they seemed to be

... a place to sleep, and the sun was up again to my nice surprise.
In the meantime, I rode the next 120 km to Dresden. I have for the first time since leaving Switzerland given myself a day off biking. I stay in a sort of youth hostel, 11 euro per night, a shower and breakfast, perfect for me.
I have already and will tonight a bit more experience Dresden. Very interesting, will write a blog about this city later.
Today is my last day in Germany, will be in Poland ...
