... is made and distributed in Switzerland - not sure if I like knowing that Cheese lasts for a year or not, but it was still quite awesome bc we ate lunch here and everything was full of awesome cheese!

It has been a great start so far - our program has 33 students from all over and it has been fun getting to know everyone and seeing how University life differs in Europe from the U.S!

... anyway and enjoyed the prettiness. We saw what may have been the 'castle' which was actually a hotel but we weren't sure. After a while we got too cold and so then we headed home.

On the way back we stopped at a servo to buy a 'vignette' which is like a road tax which you need to drive in Austria. We are heading there tomorrow and now we are all prepared. Ben also bought a beer at the servo which was huge (I think a litre), which is totally normal ...

... sky were the same colour and pretty much blended together it looked cool.

After we had checked in we went for a walk and managed to find a café which was open for dinner. I got a sandwich and one of the best hot chocolates I've had in a long time. It was really nice and we will probably go back there. Once we walked back it was already dark and the snow is settling still, I think it could get pretty deep!

... yet very German tradition of letting fireworks off in the street, in your backyard, off the balcony, out your window or God knows where else. The day had finally come where we had to hand Bruce back. To give him a proper send off we gave him a thorough wash inside and out. With the final specks of red dust washed away we were back to reality and sitting in Sydney traffic. We picked up some luggage we had stored here and then drove to our apartment in Pyrmont.
