... nl to see if they could fix the issue with the leisure battery not charing. They could not have been more helpful! I think every mechanic came out to take photos! They diagnosed the issue - a broken split relay thingy, and pointed me in the direction of an auto shop back in the direction I had come from. ... speciaity"fischbrotchen",a bread roll with about 3 pieces of slimy,cold fish.Don't mention to Roger ,he is still trying not to gag after eating one! The islands are a different and interesting envirionment,prime holiday spot for Germans,with very few English speaking visitors . We enjoyed riding bikes along the canals in this interesting small town but are starting to yearn for Phillip Island again and looking forward to moving on to ...

... offered to buy Tim, the student, a drink & change the money that way, but he had to study (a conscientious student) & told us to take the details from his card & transfer the money when
we could. What a hero! There ARE some good people around.

Got back to the car, where we'd parked alongside a dyke, on a grassy verge next to a few other vehicles only to find the others gone and a parking ticket for 82 euros on the windscreen. ...

Another high point of our visit to Tromso was a visit to Polaria. Now this museum is really just about the geological stuff, the wildlife, etc within the Arctic Region, but at this museum, they have an Aquarium, with two Bearded Seals and two Harbour Seals. We were there for their feeding/training session and MJ got to ...

... area also had some connection with the military-perhaps for all terrain training exercises. The fact that the cycle path ran right through the area, we figured that we could get away with finding a little posi for our tent overnight. We found a discreet spot and set up for the night then set off as early as we could in the morning!
