    ... up camp we took our bikes for a short ride down to the dyke to look at the sea. The sea is very flat and very shallow. The rocks were covered in small mussels and close to the harbor there were oyster beds with huge oysters. The area is a holiday destination and is fantastic for sailing, kite boarding, cycling, bird watching and hiking.

    And so back to camp for a braai with cold drinks.

    ... was nowhere to sit outside and we wanted lunch back at De Waegh. So we briskly walked back and ordered exactly what we'd had yesterday! Oh, and an apple crumble! Lovely natter, finalising possible Danish plans.     A very lazy morning of cuppas, breakfast in bed and long showers and a surprise visit from a mobile supermarket! Then an overdue haircut for JB! We wandered into town, stopping on the first bridge to watch the dredging with fascination, then ended up stopping at De Waegh Grand Café for a spot of lunch.     ... crazy and bought a Prison Break box set and a couple of other bits. The audio CDs are great but if we put them on at night, we just fall asleep! We reckon they'll be best for long journeys back on home soil. Our journeys here aren't stressful but they do require attention all the time, either on satnav or on signage or bikes etc. So good old Poirot has been shelved for now! An episode of Prison Break an evening will be a close second to my beloved Sharpe. ...
