... the refugees. I overheard one lady say it's going to cost them an extra $1200 to fly where they were going. Glad we don't have to go anywhere near the station. We are well and truly in to Austra now and the scenery us just beautiful. Going to have to do a lot of culling of my photos. Loving the houses. Must get ready to stuff my face again. ... Oberhausen, which is located across the river. This was a 10 minutes walk up many steps to be rewarded with a magnificent view of Passau and the surroundings. Well worth the walk in the heat. The temperature reached 35 degrees. Once up there we enjoyed a refreshing beer before walking back down to return to the ship. ... that we could hit sand and at worst, might not be able to proceed beyond that point to Passau. In a worst case scenario, we would have to disembark and complete the rest of the journey to Budapest by bus, staying overnight in hotels. Drat!
