... was DELICIOUS, it was like a light fluffy Swiss pizza on puff pastry with creamy Swiss cheese and sausage and tomatoes. It was scrumptious. We then caught a cable car and train up to the ski village of Mürren which was unfortunately mostly still closed, but the journey itself was really good fun and nice and relaxing. We had hot chocolate to thaw out because being higher, it was much colder again and our hands were tingling from it. Swiss hot chocolate is very milky and not ...

We left the forest and saw in the mist a small hut, it started to rain so we walked up to the hut to put on our raincoats under the cover of the eave. We sorted ourselves out and then looked up to see the mist had cleared a little and just ahead of us there was a much larger newer looking hut just ahead of us, we all laughed as we had been close to that hut but hadn’t seen ...

... walked along the paths and saw a sign back to where I had got the cable car up. How about a walk back down, that sounds like fun, surely it was not that far. It was not until about a third of the way down that I realised that this was an epic mistake for an unfit non professional hiker like myself. At least I had changed out of my thongs earlier. It was steep....billy goat steep and my legs were not happy with me at all.
