    ... the top was at Eismeer. Here the elevation was 10,368 feet and the temperature was 35 degrees fahrenheit. Here all you saw was snow and white skies.     ... But seriously, who brings someone into a hostel room at 1am with no regard for the other people in it? I sincerely hope he leaves tomorrow. At any rate, I opt to sit in the lobby with the wifi, and learn that sadly there doesn't seem to be anywhere in Germany I can buy GF soft pretzels.     ... for a bet, I guess. We arrived at the top (the last 40 minutes or so are in a tunnel, so not for claustrophobics), and followed the suggested route around the various features. The Sphinx outdoor observation platform provides an almost 360 degree panorama of the snow covered mountains which was awesome.
