Anyway upon opening our door he rang us to apologise for no one being on site but assured us our key will get us in and out and he said to ring him if we need anything otherwise he will meet us tomorrow.     ... Nels were working for the day, however as they were busy with customers we use walked past. I went with Birthe to a specialist tea shop and she got a free sample of chilli chai tea. Upon returning to the house in Scharmede we found Craig who had stayed home to listen to the all black test against the wallabies live, score being 12 all!     ... the evening we went out for dinner to a local restaurant in Paderborn with Karin, Christian Birthe and Andreas and Birthe's brother Nels and his partner Rebecca.     ... at times I had to close my eyes lol lots of trucks on the road and mainly Audi or other European cars speeding past us and we were at times going 160km/hr!! So when u already on the wrong side of the road - felt a bit scary for me anyway but not Craig he enjoyed it. We stopped and had morning tea half way - the scenic countryside in parts reminded us of a bit of NZ in parts and France - lovely villages ...

    ... amp; speaks very good English so communication is not a problem (unlike our last site in Germany!); fees were €20 a night with ACSI card, facilities were spotless although a little walk away from our pitch but you need to take your rubbish with you when you are going out as the bins are a long walk from anywhere.
