    ... ve been given better food because they mostly make the same thing for all the dietary people. Anyway to get out of eating bread is good with me. The Swarovski museum was amazing. The crystal clouds weren't as impressive as I thought but the various rooms were interesting. It's crazy what people can make and design. There was a crystal dome and it felt like I was inside a kaleidoscope. ...

    ... in English. The place is mainly designed to educate Germans about their history. The museum is located on top of the bunkers used by the Nazis and you can go down and look through the eerie tunnels and rooms. Lunch was in the adjoining restaurant before we tackled the journey home. Katrina had a go at driving with me as her navigator. She did a great job. I was a lousy navigator but in my defense I saw a sign ...

    ... Celeste and Peter shared a tasting platter with a bit of everything on their menu! The serves were huge! See the photos! I thought I would try an Austrian speciality for dessert. I can't remember it's proper name but it's a soufflé. What they fail to tell you and the menu doesn't explain either, that it's "HUGE" and is supposed to be shared between 5 or 6 people. Everyone had a taste and we had to leave about a third of it. ...

    ... fast ride up the gondola took us high up the mountain where we could explore from. I wasn't really prepared for the altitude or hiking in the leather boots, jeans and the light cardigan I had down in the village, but I should know by now to always be prepared for a short "walk". The views, I seriously will never tire of the the amazing views. It has been great sharing this with Michael's parents - I know they are pretty amazed with the Austrian countryside.

    Today was our only full day here and we both wanted to see more of the valley and planned to walk to the next town following the path of peace, a small trail that follows a meandering stream.

    We got up and had some complimentary breakfast which was toast and coffee. The bread is a brand called 'American style sandwich' based on this we have concluded Americans don't know **** about bread, but it was free so we don't complain. We set off around 1050 ...
