... two bathrooms, a sizeable kitchen, dining room, a large living room, a separate laundry room, a utility room (workshop), and a wine cellar. Soon I will also be able to park my car indoors, in an old barn. right now there is a tractor in there, but not for long. The rooms and amenities are very modern, but there is an old-world charm to parts of the house, as well. I will post photos soon, but for now, just enjoy these four.<br><br>

... br><br>Tracy and I drooled and fantasized about much of the old furniture we saw, some of which can see. The photos, I swear, do not do the actual piece justice, since I used a 2-megapixel camera on a phone. We were at once excited and dolorous at the splendor of it all: dolorous in that we could reasonably afford none of it right now; excited in the idea that at three year's end we will most likely be able to beautify our future houses with an variety. <br><br>Until next time!

Meet Henry, my Mercedes-Benz. He's an odd fellow; nice enough, if a little cranky; advanced in years. We don't communicate so well yet, even if we are both obviously making efforts. ... die Kleidung in diverse Tüten aufteilen, um den Überblick zu behalten. Wo war noch gleich das rote T-Shirt??? Ich hab&#8217;s doch gestern noch zwischen dem Bikini und der Zip-off-Hose gesehen...?! Nein: das rote T-Shirt ist in der weißen Oberteile-Tüte, der Bikini in der gelben Strand-Tüte, die Zip-off-Hose in der großen dunkelblauen Unterteile-Tüte. Sehr praktisch! ... it had been in flatpacks for about a month so far. I got all the equipment I needed and I set to work. I had originally planned to get the whole thing done while I was there because with two people, it shouldn't take more than a day. I built all the individual cupboards and lined them up. ... who owned the shop I was sitting in front of opened the door and tried to shoo me because I wasn't buying anything even though she was closed. To make her happy, I bought a Sprite and sat down on the footpath. When I opened it, it exploded like no other soft drink I had ever had before and about 60% went all over me and the hot brick pavement I was sitting on. ... of course! And close by is the Moselle valley. While I was in the area, I finally found a proper lap pool...though only 25m (TRIVIA: In 1999 the UK (not London!) only had 8 x 50m pool's...Germany 200 and Australia 2000-5000!!aaarghhh...I'm suffering!). Was so funny to see all these old ladies with the most perfect looking 'toilet doilies' on their heads! Very trendy - not! Lol...
