Last night attempted our first dining experience and managed to order the food and wine we actually wanted! Chose the right time to be out and about as rain started just after our return to the apartment. Right next to the river it is very flat, and this is where all the towns are built. Then the sides of the river valley are really steep and ...

... this....' and met a few others from the squadron, it was also the birthday of a visiting senior man. Not having moved all night and being delivered strong vodkas to each round of everyone else' beers, at close, 10pm, lets say I were very 'cheery'.

We left for a greasy feed at Rockers, a very American restaurant open on base until late. Finding myself unable to read the menu and everything settling in, I removed myself for the night! Thanks for the help McVittie!!
