At that time I did not know the meaning of the word “Nieren” when I read it on the German menu, but that was what I ordered. ... great to get a little taste of Halloween. Today we are just kind of hanging out. Everything in Kaiserslautern is closed because it's Sunday and this is a fairly religious town. We are headed to Munich tomorrow morning. We are going to be on the bus practically all day and wanted snacks so we had to go on to the air force base to go to the store. Holy cow! We also went to the outdoor market and had a type of horse hamburger and hot dog. Bro ugh some spices for home and just had a look around.

Later we went to Jutta's parents Garden House with is in a type of community. Provided some pictures.

We leave for the Austrian Alps first thing Sunday ...
