We arrived in Zurich with expectations and all of them were met with disappointment. Impressions of Zurich. Brown, bland, uninspiring. It was difficult to find a park. In the end we found somewhere and had to ride about 6 km back into town to have a look around. We rode along the lake into Zurich and it was a cloudy old day which may not have helped but it all seemed so dull and lifeless after where we had been. ... Melody were off again. This time they went up the steep hill farther into Meersburg. There were a number of interesting stores and Melody went into a few but did not buy anything. She also reminded Dave he was supposed to look for baby clothes. We looked but did not see anything that we liked. Melody and Dave did see a working water wheel on their tour.
