... least now we know we can make her get wet from time to time. Unfortunately Caramobil don't sell ventilators! I emailed the first two Austrian sites to book us in. As we've hit July now, we are beginning to find places booked up so we thought we'd get a few reservations made. Friday 3rd July

From Austria it was just a short hop into Germany, back into Austria and then Germany again. Salem is not far from the Bodensee, the large lake bordering Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The campsite is lovely and quite busy. The weather is hot with temperatures in

The rain did not stop, and then the thunder and lightning started. No awning as we were just one night and Prego couldn't have slept outside in the storm anyway. An uneventful day really but necessary to get us closer to the Black Forest to meet mum and ...

... roadworks and traffic. So a relaxed wander round Meersburg and a bit of lunch went out the window and we settled for dirty drive thru and a limp to the one night campsite! The Bodensee looks awesome though. The lake is massive and is bordered by Germany, Switzerland and Austria. If the sun was out, anywhere around the lake would be ...
