... There was courtyard with tombstones around the walls for the people buried under the courtyard. The cathedral was having the plaster updated - the guide said it lasts about 25 years - unless it floods - but the cathedral is above the flood level.

We actually never made it to Passau, Germany. The ship stopped in Aschach, Austria for us to get on the bus for our trip to Cesky Krumlov in the Czech Republic. The ship then continued on to Passau where we were taken after our tour. The water levels in the Danube are so low that the Captain was concerned that we might get stuck in Passau, so he went through the lock and docked further upstream. We arrived in Passau this morning and for MJ and I, it was a bit of a scramble. We overslept and only woke 20 minutes before our departure for the walking tour. A coffee and a pastry and we were good to go.

... church, we spent the afternoon walking the city streets. It was cold and slightly wet, so we were happy to board the ship this afternoon. A hot chocolate was in order. After I finish this entry, a nap is next. I hope you all like the pics. Sorry, I'm not writing much. Its amazing how tired one can get walking around for just a few hours.
