We set off quite early for our day trip to Salzburg, we had opted for a tour of the countryside but it failed due to lack of numbers and we opted for Salzburg. ... The church contains the world's largest cathedral organ with over 17,000 pipes and over 200 stops. At the end of our walking tour with our guide, Heike, we received tickets to attend the noon organ concert. For a half hour we were treated to the sounds of this remarkable instrument with music written by six composers one of which was Bach.
