... played before they came in to play us. They beat us in both games, but our team looked good. We have a lot of great guys on the team. It's weird being the guy who doesn't understand what's being said in the locker room al the time, but the guys translate for me.

Overall, I love it here and am excited for the rest of the season and some fun adventures coming up. I'll try to keep up with blog posts, pictures, and videos.

We stopped on the outskirts of Hannover for a quick visit with Pete's second cousins Herbert and Vicky. Peter hadn't seen them since he was a kid. We thought we would just stay for a cuppa then go see the city. How wrong we were. I should have known better seeing as they are part of the Haggis family. We took to the hills and headed for "Sleeping Beauty's Castle", which is a modern day hotel where the hot chocolate and red current cake was very nice for afternoon tea. This area of Saxony near Kassel is responsible for producing the Grimm brothers, Wilhelm and Jacob, who were inspired by the picturesque countryside and churned out the fairy tales, including Hansel and Gretel.
