    ... highlights of our little tour was when we stopped at one of the stalls that was selling candle light covers of various designs. One in particular had a design of sailing ships and lighthouses to which Johanna's mother exclaimed "Urgh, so typisch Norddeutsch"....having experienced as much of Germany as I had, this internal joke reminiscent of England's North-South divide gave me a warm chuckle.

    ... snow).

    It was great after the game to head to Tom and Karo to have nice warm soup and gyros and chips!!! Then a bier at the Shuettinger and a jaunt through the snowy town centre for some photos...then back home, heaters up and under our big fluffy doona!

    So, as you should know by now, last month I briefly went back to Bremen for a weekend....with various excuses ranging from 'I need closure' to 'It's for research - Uni work' to quite simply 'Why not?!' the weekend flew by all too quickly, and made me realise once more why I love the city so much!

    So, where to begin? Well I had been working endlessly from the moment I got back to Uni in September until early December, before the final pieces of work ...
