... with bacon and wild mushrooms. The mushrooms are a local treat that I have been meaning to have on other trips. They are tiny golden ones but to my mind not a lot of flavour. ... Converted from an old cow shed for some coffee and a bread, cheeses and meats platter. Aimee was congratulated by the waitress for how good she spoke Dutch. She must be a natural. The next day we decided to take it easy on the sightseeing and borrow Oma and Iwans bikes for the day. No need for helmets over here so Aimee is happy to come (she has a weird thing about stuff on her head) We head off into the forest and have a great time navigating around the ...

... in circles trying to get me back on but we were having no joy so we had to take a bit of a detour. Not exactly what we wanted on such a long drive. Again we got back on track and there was just time enough for one more missed turning before we eventually made it to the campsite at about 4.30 so it had been a long day. We parked up and then realised that we needed some money so we had to unpark and drive to the nearest bank and this involved driving very slowly around ...
