... They had two horses and lots of cows and calves, as well as a cat whose name means thief in German who always turned up when we were eating! One calf was only a day old and had been rejected by its mother. It was so cute. Her name was Barbara, they name all the calves after the guests that are staying there at the time! Natalie served fresh hot croissants and homemade jams for breakfast every monring.

You'd think this would seem a little excessive and 'small towney' but it is too cute. As it was for four of us it came out in a huge pot with a burner, and Fabian and Jane showed us how to do it. We had fresh bread and hot potatoes to dip into the cheese, ...

... Funny Farm told us to wait to do the mountain stuff for a later date. He told us to take a train up to a nice point up the mountain. The train track up was almost vertical, that was how steep we were going.

While it was foggy, the view was still spectacular, as we got to see the two lakes on both sides of us. We stayed up there for a bit, and waited to take the last train down. I guess we made the best use of time as we can with the unpredictable weather!
