... best beds. We were also able to go into town to get our lift passes sorted before the coach arrived so it was really fast. I got some lunch with some of the 2 weekers then walked back to the guest house. At 5pm the bar opened so we went for a drink and were introduced to a game where you have to bang a nail into the wooden stump but you have to use the wrong end of the hammer and the last person to bang their nail in has to buy everyone else ...

... t find the need to go to both his birthplace and his residence. I only chose his birthplace because it was in the center of town and close to everything else I was visiting.

Then I went to see the Salzburg Dom, it was pretty inside but I've seen so many churches that I think I have too high of expectations for them! I also went to visit the St. Peter's cemetery and catacombs (if you know me at all, this should not be the least bit surprising!). ...

... from Newcastle, Maddy, is on exchange in Salzburg, and kindly offered up her room while she is holidaying in the UK. Maddy’s friends Ashlee and Lorena picked us up from Puch station, and showed us back to our place – the ‘penthouse!’ It is really big for a uni room, and the window looks out onto the stunning alps. We were so lucky to be on the top floor!

En route to Austria! First stop, the salt mines. Some hot pics of me in a blue suit will be coming soon party people! We will then be off to Salzburg, Mozart's birth place. The alps are absolutely breathtaking! They have inspired me to write...whew! Finally! The blog has been a bit dry, my writing is usually a bit more colorful. I see why Mozart was so amazing!
