... so no pics will do it justice (I took video though). So instead of a snow pic, I have attached a special photo I took today at the zoo.

Then after that excitement I got the funicular up to the fortress and my battery died after 3 photos so they are not very good but it was worth it to get a video of the Pumas.

Now am hoping for some sun tomorrow which is my last day in Salzburg. I wanna see those magnificent mountains.

... a good deal of TLC. Then I read that this medieaval lane was, for a long time, part of the only road stretching from the north over the Alps and down as far as Venice! I imagine that! I was lost in daydreams of the travellers who might have made their way along these cobbles and through these doorways over the centuries... and here was I, walking the same cobbles, and getting a thrill from the very notion of it. ... Ok, that's not true.

Although no snow, I'm almost as excited about the prospect of seeing some sun tomorrow, as I have not seen one bit of sun since I left Sydney. I'm doing the touristy places tomorrow so hopefully I will have some amazing views ahead of me.

Unbelievable. We missed the bus again. Twice. But we saw it drive by- apparently it doesn't stop at the bus stop we were waiting at. Taxi! We've got important, exciting places to be... For example. RED BULL HEADQUARTERS. Yay! We got to drink a Red Bull inside HQ, better known as: the volcano. What an unforgettable feeling! Ari feels like every person who has worked for Red Bull has heard of it and dreamed of visiting. Thanks ...

Day 2

... fell at the same bit that I did, it was strange, almost as if I'd jinxed it! Ross went second but he didn't fall, just wobbled rather obviously which surprised me because I thought Ross was the best (or most advanced) skier in our group. Nathan went after and had a dramatic fall at, again, the same flag where I had fallen. Craig went down too - I think he was most annoyed as he was determined to beat Ross' time! Jemma came down last and she fell too. She lay ...
