    ... wind. That afternoon I went on a hike. I didn't realize how high I was going until all of a sudden I found snow on the ground! Then the rain turned into skew and before I knew it the skew was up to my knees and it was nearly impossible to find the trail.     ... then to catch the train. We also stopped in Interlaken which lies between the lakes of Brienz and Thun, thereby the name "Interlaken." It was a lovely town, just no time to explore. Passing cow pastures was common, but what I noticed was that the cows all wore cow bells! That's one way to keep track of all those cows!     Switzerland is a lot like Queensland – beautiful one day, raining (snowing) the next!! Yep, the weather forecast says the rain is clearing and it will be fine tomorrow – we have heard this line before.
