... fall. It was really fun hearing about their adventures so far. They have been all over Europe as well in including a week or so in Italy. Funny how everyone agrees Dublin is the best place to fly in and out of. We left the tour station and went back to the hostel to clean up a bit and now we would be off to go hiking to a waterfall in Istelwald. One of the girls from Ohio had gotten directions from her hostel so we all went to meet there. The trail was beautiful and ...

... mountain. We then headed down the mountain on the gondola and caught the bus back to the train station with our tour guide. It was 5pm when we arrived back so we went shopping and had dinner in the markets. The store we bought our dinner from was Albanian but from Kosova. We had burgers with hajvar and onions and cabbage with a beef patty. They were actually very nice. After dinner we had another look around and went back to the room for the night.

Well, this cold snap over here has actually been a real treat-it has made the scenery quite beautiful. Thursday was our day to head up to Jungfraujoch, which is Europes highest train station at 3454m. To get there is 3 trains, a regular train to either Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen (make sure you get on the right end at Interlaken, as the train splits in two part way there), from there a cog railway up to Kleine Scheidegg, and then to the final cog railway, the Jungfraubahn all the way ...

... houses and farm life from various ares of Switzerland from the past for a good 3 hours. Had to keep moving. Also outside the gate was a hand made chocolate factory. Not so historic but worth sampling of course. We have been assured Swiss chocolate is not fattening?

We had a lovely tour of more countryside around the beautiful lake and up into the hills where the chairlifts go from after leaving the museum park. ...
