... were familiar to us: IKEA, Burger King, KFC, ALDI, Toys 'R' Us, McDonalds, and Subway. It definitely makes it feel more at home knowing there are things here that we also have back home in the states. We also went exploring around the Ulmer Munster Plaza, which has little shops, restaurants, cafes, art galleries - you name it! Unfortunately most of it was closed, due to it being a holiday, but I can see us heading back very soon!

... were fully expecting a "studio" apartment - just one large room with everything centrally located. However, to our surprise, we learned that we had five separate rooms - one master bedroom (ours), one guest bedroom, living room (which is quite spacious, I might add, with a pull out couch), bathroom/washroom combo, and a kitchen! This place is pretty great, I won't lie!

On Saturday the first of October I decide to get on the train and go to Ulm, Germany to see the four girls that couch surfed at my house in December of 2010. They flew into New York bought a mini-van for $2,500 and traveled all the way across the USA to California and making a stop in Lovington for a few days gave us time to become close friends. ... didnt get the text messages till today, but happy with the result. DAY 12 - Rest day in Ulm - I guess I will need to give my bike some loving, have cleaned it before but not the way the rest of the group are fanatically cleaning the bike. Each day their bikes look like new...maybe I can ask them nicely..hehe Speak in a couple of days again. We are taking off tomorrow again...for another 3 days of cycling. Hope all is well.
