Travel day

... for longer then a day. Munich- I loved Munich just as much as Kraków, even though it is a busy city. I had no idea what to expect, but it is breathtaking. Beautiful old churches and buildings packed throughout the city. The city also has incorporated patches of grass as well as walking trails and lounging areas along the water. I think this is what made it feel less like a city. It's hard to describe how breathtaking the view of the city is until ...

We are Half way there! We left logan at 4:10PM on Wednesday, and made it to Frankfurt without delay at 5am local time. Both of us didn't sleep well on the flight, so we were fairly tired waiting for our short connection to Munich. That flight was only an hour, so we were not really able to rest. On a side note, Lufthansa provided two meals on our flight, which was a nice surprise! Although we were both tired, we decided to head into ...

It tasted amazing and was the perfect ...

... went back and bought a couple of pastries, then I bought a chocolate milk and then a salad and then another chocolate milk and some crackers! Ahh I was full but it occupied most of my day going back and forth from the shops! I read books and skyped Adrian and actually had a good day! Finally it was time to check in my bags and it took ages which was kind of good! And then finally time to board! I was finally heading ...

Arrival at Munich Airport

A travel blog entry by jonkinne on Oct 03, 2014

Late-afternoon flight from Dubrovnik arrived in Munich around 1830. Took S-Bahn and the U-Bahn to our Gasthaus in Garching, north of Munich, where we decided to stay to avoid having to drive in Munich traffic and hassle with parking. Public transportation in Munich is so good and so reasonably-priced that we delayed even picking up our car until the day we'd be leaving Munich for Salzburg.
