... streets and colourful arches, loads of colour everywhere and a huge festival being set up that we cycled around and ogled at how big it was. The town is also surrounded on all sides by canals so it looks like an island on the map. We drove 354 km today which means we nearly drove right across Germany so instead of going to Passau on the boarder tomorrow ...

Having a beer in Deutschland was a bucket list item for sure. Long ass plane ride to get here...and have another 1.5 one to catch to get to Sorrento. Hubby found us a bier garten in the airport. Despite it being served a little warmer than I'm used to, it was AWESOME!!! And the Munchner Weisswurste was to die for. Beer, sausages and pretzles. Sehr gut! And can we talk about how beautiful German women are?? Taken with Bryan at the Dallmayr in Munich ...

... us in, locked our bikes away and in no time at all we were warm, dry and fed. A planned afternoon ride around the area had to be cancelled due to the rather nasty showers and thunder storms that were coming through at regular intervals. Lucky for us this hotel (Inn Hotel, Simbach) is brand new (6weeks old) has a combo coffee shop / restaurant / bakery on the ground floor and a supermarket next door. So we could lounge around, drink coffee, eat cake, get drunk (as if) ...
