... in, some people found it very rundown, but I felt it was just very old and loved. It didn't take away from the town, it added to it. Also the salt mines were very interesting as well as Aushwitz. I would love to visit Kraków at another point in my life. I felt like we didn't spend enough time at this stop. Berlin- I found this to be a bit like New York City except filled with monuments and history. I personally don't enjoy traveling to these ...

... for a while, and get out of the airport. We have a 12 hour layover here in Munich. We had a great time walking around the Marienplatz, and sampling some food, tea, coffee and of course beer. Arrival at Munich Airport

A travel blog entry by jonkinne on Oct 03, 2014

Late-afternoon flight from Dubrovnik arrived in Munich around 1830. Took S-Bahn and the U-Bahn to our Gasthaus in Garching, north of Munich, where we decided to stay to avoid having to drive in Munich traffic and hassle with parking. Public transportation in Munich is so good and so reasonably-priced that we delayed even picking up our car until the day we'd be leaving Munich for Salzburg.
