      Today we had a full day in lucerne, and started off by seeing the "Sad Lion". The sad lion is a large lion monument carved into the side of of cliff.       ... and a drink. Walked around for a bit as couldn't decide in where to go and then went to a bar near McDonald's called Roadhouse. Brad had a local beer and rum and coke. I had a raspberry margherita as recommended by the friendly bartender. It was lovely but huge. Had some chicken wings to nibble on which were huge but very tasty.       ... washing. I watch some BBC show about antiques, which seems to be their favourite subject. Then I download some Parks & Rec on my iPad, as I miss Leslie Knope. Eventually, I fall asleep in my big comfy bed, with TWO pillows. Did I ever mention how my hotel in Lugano, which had a queen size bed, only gave me one pillow. How are you supposed to do anything, like sit up to read or watch TV or be comfortable in any way with one measly pillow? $160/ night for one pillow. I'm still not over ...

      ... outside to the panorama and played around like kids. People made snow angels, had snow ball fights, and slipped and dipped over the icy areas. We could not see many of the surrounding mountainous areas due to the snow storm setting in, but that didn't seem to bother any one. We could also walk around a ledge and into a cave, which legend says a dragon once lived in.
