Yesterday we went out on the Lake again with a visit to Rigi-Klum. This was another gondala trip up the side of a mountain followed by a cog wheel train to the summit. Much clearer day so we got to see the views. Lucerne is a beautiful part of the world. As mentioned before, it does remind me of Queenstown in some ways. However when you travel down the lake you come across so many amazing little towns. Think Swiss housing and this is evident all the way the water is so blue and clear. ...

We travelled through villages where the houses almost touched the bus on both ...

... As we sit there it starts raining, so we hang around, sipping our coffee’s slowly hoping the rain stops, but eventually we have to bite the bullet, & return to our hotel in the rain. Fortunately I have a hooded shower jacket & an umbrella in my bag, so Kaye got the umbrella.

Back at the hotel by 1pm, so do a bit of tidying-up & packing for the final leg of our holiday to Paris, ...

... in the shop of course, big and small tractors available (at a price). No we didn't buy one. We were then taken to the canteen and given a three course meal. That really surprised us but not one to turn down free food we all lapped it up. Just as well as it turns out. We left Mannheim and onto the motorway to the black forest. At least that was the plan, until we hit a traffic jam caused by an accident. We spent 4 hours and travelled 100 kms. There was time to ...
