The baby is only 4 months old and doesn't want to take a bottle, but it's ok as people have long lunches (2 hours) in Switzerland and Annik comes home to feed. Tim and I joined Annik and her mum at home for lunch, and then Tim and I headed out again to see more of Bern. He ...

... bridges were stunning, the buildings were all beautiful (again!) and the water in the river was soooo clear - as Neil said, "it's actually too clean for fish!" We tried to search for a traditional Bratwurst lunch, but in the end the boys ran out of patience and energy and after lots of tears we decided speedy food was the best option and went for a McDonalds! (they really are everywhere!) I caught the train home a long time after I had expected ...
